My Story

Christina unintentionally started her health and wellness coaching journey at 11 years old, when she received a late stage cancer diagnosis and was given a less than 20% chance of survival. After feeling all the scary feelings, Christina discovered something remarkable within herself – a strength and a determination to survive. Despite the overwhelming obstacles faced, she embraced hope and the power of positivity, drawing strength from the love and support of her family and friends.
The treatment that cured her childhood cancer led to various latent issues as an adult, including a second cancer and being high risk for other cancers and diseases. Christina learned to embrace gratitude and face each new challenge with optimism, a warrior spirit and support from her people. Being as strong and healthy as possible, mentally, spiritually, and physically is something Christina works hard at, it’s not always easy, but she embraces it and focuses on all the good things.
Through her own journey, Christina has learned that growth comes not from overcoming obstacles alone, but from connecting with others, sharing challenges, and lifting each other up along the way. She personally understands the importance of celebrating the wins, having unconditional positive regard for others and being your unique best self.
Christina’s intentional health and wellness coaching journey began in 2013 and she is grateful to be one of the first 1,000 National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coaches in the world. She trained in coaching psychology and methods (AI, MI, NVC, TTM, Positive Psychology) with both Wellcoaches and the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching. Christina is also a certified Reiki II practitioner who trained at the ReikiColorado Academy, which is endorsed by Watson Caring Science Institute. She also has an MBA in Communications and Market Research and has been studying human behaviors and shifting mindsets for over three decades.
